This blog will chronicle the adventures in nerdom that my son, whom we will refer to as J, and I take through this crazy thing we call life.

Me

A little about me. My wife and I got married at pretty young ages, she was 18 and I was 19. We moved from Colorado to Utah soon after the wedding. My wife studied graphic design at Brigham Young University and I studied Digital Media with and emphasis in Audio Production at Utah Valley University. I left my program early and started my own recording studio and my wife graduated and went straight into the work force. Long story short, my wife is a full-time in house graphic designer and I am an at-home dad/freelance audio engineer. I love comics/graphic novels, video games, Power Rangers, Doctor Who (pretty much any sci-fi show), and music.

Now for a little about J. J is an independent little guy. He likes playing with his train, painting, coloring, and dancing around his room. He likes when we do our daily reading time usually something from his superhero or train collection. We go on train rides through the city (usually to the library or one of the malls), hang out at the park (on warm days), and watch shows and movies together. Some of J’s favorite things to watch are; anything on PBS Kids, Earth’s Mightiest Heroes (Avengers), Super Hero Squad, Batman Beyond, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (original animated series), Power Rangers (he has a signed picture from Walter Jones) , and Phineas and Ferb (he has a Phineas and Ferb: Mission Marvel poster signed by Stan Lee).
